IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

REPEAT PRESCRIBING ORDERING SERVICE

The NHS across County Durham and the Tees Valley are making changes to the way you can order your repeat prescription.

Your community pharmacy will no longer be able to order your repeat medication, but you will be able to order your repeat medication directly with the practice, using the repeat ordering slip or online.

There is nothing to worry about - you will still receive the medication that you need.

If you order your repeat prescription directly from the GP practice this change will not affect you.

These changes will take effect from Monday 2nd September 2019.

Please ensure you order your repeat prescriptions when you have about 7 days of medication left and only order the medicines you need.

If you still want your community pharmacy to collect and deliver your prescription, please ensure you inform your chosen pharmacy.

GP Net Earnings

“NHS England require that the net earnings of doctors engaged in the practice is publicised, and the required disclosure is shown below.  However it should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice, and should not be used to form any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make any comparison with any other practice.

Year ended 31 March 2018:-

The average pay for GP's working in Cheveley Park Medical Centre in the last financial year was £59,651 before tax and national insurance. This is for 4 part time GP's who worked in the practice for more than six months.”
